Last Sunday, as I trudged cantankerously back home. Even in my weary state, I could not help but notice that two men were shadowing me. Horrible thoughts plagued my mind. Were they trying to kidnap me? I started getting nervous and hastened my pace to elude them. When I hastened my pace, they followed suit, confirming the fact that I was being tailed. I was in a dilemma. If I slowed down and questioned them about why they were tailing me, they would probably kidnap me. If I carried on walking, they would still corner me when I was in the lift. Thus, I decided to take action. Thankfully I had just finished my hockey session and my stick was still with me. I slowly halted, brandishing my "weapon". As I heard the footsteps getting nearer, I swung round, giving a 'war cry' for good measure. With a resounding smack, I whacked one man with my stick. Meanwhile, the other man had approached from the other direction and pinned me to the floor. A cold shiver when down my spine as I awaited my fate. "Police! Come with us," the guy commanded as he handcuffed me. I was momentarily stupefied. Why would the police want to arrest me? "What have I done?" I protested. The policemen then showed me a photo of a guy called Adam Lambert, a wanted criminal. Astoundingly, the guy in the photo resembled me! I took out my Ez-link card from my pocket and showed them my name, which was Sembian. It then dawned upon them that they had caught the wrong person. I accepted their apologies as I could see a striking resemblance between me and Adam Lambert. That day would forever be etched in my mind as something unusual that happened. I learnt that I should stay calm in any situation to prevent trouble.
