Last Sunday, as I looked at the photos of my family at the picnic, I could not help but reminiscse............................... "Tommorrow school will reopen..." I moaned. After the long holiday of playing computer games, I simply did not feel up to going to school, studying, and waking up so early. I did not wish to spend my last day of the holidays playing computer games, thus I suggested a family outing. My parents unanimously agreed, thus we went out for a picnic. When we arrived at our destination, we were awestruck by the breathtaking scenery of the decided picnic location, Pulau Semakau. Its lustrous green grass and marigold clouds were simply an awesome sight to behold. We lay out the picnic mat and began our picnic. We had a good spread of food. There was finger food like chicken wings, chicken nuggets, french fries and other types like sandwiches, biscuits, cakes, and fruits. The mouth-watering list of food left us salivating. We were indeed spoilt for choice. As I tucked in on a sandwiched, I scanned my surroudnings to admire the scenic view. My earlier sorrow and reluctance of going back to school had already vanquished. A radiant smile lit up my face as I lay down on the mat. My family had also brought games to play together, thus when we were finished with the scumptious spread, we began to play the games. We played 'Uno' together, and although that game seemed quite childish, I seldom spend time with my family, thus the game of cards helped to bond my family together too. When the sun set, we reluctantly packed our belongings and made our way home. Although school would reopen the following day, that fact could not dampen my spirits as I felt that my last day was well spent. Approximately 300 words
